How Loud Is Your Discipline?
Yesterday, I had a conversation with Discipline. It went a little something like this:
Me: "I'm on my own for dinner tonight. I'm gonna have something naughty. Macros be damned!"
Discipline: "BUT YOU RELAX YOUR MACROS A BIT ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, ASSHOLE!"
Me:"But my metabolism could probably use some extra calories for a few days straight. A "diet break", if you will."
Discipline: "CONSISTENCY IS KEY! AND YOU'RE GOING TO TREAT YOURSELF A BIT ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, YOU DUMB ASS!"
Me:"I think I have fixings for a "skinny pizza" at home. Pretty sure that will fit my macros."
Discipline: "NOW YOU'RE TALKING, BAD ASS!"
Me: *heavy, sad sigh* "Fine, I'll just do a skinny pizza tonight."
Discipline: "WITHOUT ME, YOU'D NEVER REACH YOUR GOALS!"
Me: "Thanks for being there, fucker."
I can rarely drown out Discipline at this point in my journey. Teach your Discipline to ROAR!
